Madrid is the capital of Spain, an awesome city which has a lot to offer, museums, musicals, concerts, great food, modern markets and art nouveau buildings are just some of the sights that you can find there, so today I want to show you a small tour with my favorite sights there.

Let´s begin with my favorite building in the city: “THE METROPOLIS BUILDING”, you have to know that there is a possibility to see it from the sky and that is from “The circulo de lectores building”´s roof, where you can order a drink while you observe the beautiful sky of the city, the entrance cost 4 € , find more information about it HERE.

Once you have had enough views, walk through the Alcalá Street to visit “La Puerta del Sol” and continue walking until you get “La Plaza Mayor”, you have to stop here and order a good “Bocadillo de Calamares”, I mean a squid sandwich with a cold beer, you can taste the  “Jamón Serrano” too which is definitely a must when you visit Spain.

“San miguel Market” is really close and there are many stands where you can try yummy food, yeah!

With the belly full of yummy food you should take a walk and the best place to do it is the “Palacio Real” area where you can visit “The Almudena Cathedral” a really modern temple full of colors that will not leave you indifferent…

There are many other places to visit, such as “Debod Temple”, “El Prado Museum”, “The Cibeles Fountain”….but there is one which I really love and thats “The Retiro Park”, this huge park is plenty of interesting things to do and see but I would say that my favorite one is the magical “Crystal Palace”, let´s see it..
